TTL INTRODUCES NEW HILUX KD RANGE

Toyota Tanzania has introduced the new Hilux New 1KD (3 litre) and 2KD (2.5 litre) common rail turbo engines with 2 key product benefits:

1. A more powerful turbo diesel engine (the previous Hilux range was without turbo) 
2. A more efficient performance with better fuel efficiency

The new range will be strategically targeted at organisations who require efficient and maintainable multipurpose vehicles for their fleets. This is a huge opportunity for the new Hilux KD engine range ? hugely popular in South Africa and thanks to the KD engine is able to provide higher fuel efficiency combined with greater power. This is an attractive proposition for fleet users whose main goal is to maintain their daily fleet running costs without compromising on the legendary and renowned power and reliability of the Hilux. A national press advertising campaign and a promotional collaboration with key BP stations in Dar es Salaam was launched in April.
